We’re making the lives of people who travel easier and more enjoyable while constantly developing new, intelligent mobility solutions!\nWe are looking for System Engineer - HVAC\nSupport the verification and validation of TCMS software, subsystems and interfaces through laboratory, simulator and vehicle testing. Work with test, software and system engineering teams to confirm requirements, identify defects and document results.\nYou’ll make a difference by\nAble to define the architecture, functionalities, conceptual design, and performance requirements of HVAC systems, including thermal load calculations, cooling capacity, equipment sizing, system integration, and technical feasibility assessments.\nResponsible for the mechanical integration of HVAC equipment within rail vehicles, including installation concept, industrial fitments, positioning, installation space allocation, maintainability, and compliance with vehicle interface and operational requirements.\nGeneral willingness for overall systems engineering related tasks than HVAC topics as well as transversal topics\nKnowledge of multiple areas of application like Metro, Passenger Coaches, Locomotives, etc.\nFunctionally manage project activities and/or external engineering sub-contractors.\nCollaborate with other functional groups to manage requirements and provide inputs for interfacing with Software, electrical and mechanical groups.\nLead technical development of HVAC systems adhering to the Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) commitments of the Project/Tender.\nKey interface for HVAC systems from India to work with Headquarters / Lead unit in Europe or across the globe.\nDeploy and apply development procedures, Engineering processes and PLM milestones into the design and development of HVAC systems.\nEnsure an efficient interface & alignment with internal / External stakeholders such as Engineering, Procurement, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Project management, suppliers & subcontractors for assigned project / Tender.\nResponsible for Requirement management for HVAC systems scope and ensuring internal stakeholders & external suppliers’ compliance in line with project QCD targets.\nLead & organize Design reviews as per project/Tender milestones and get necessary approvals for design release.\nResponsible for FAI, testing and validation of HVAC systems and leading and approval from Engineering side.\nResponsible for Supplier identification, qualification & development from Engineering side for HVAC systems.\nDesired Skills:\nMechanical Engineer with minimum 8 years’ experience in HVAC subsystem design and development in Rolling stock industry.\nAdditional Knowhow of interior installations design and development of mechanical and electrical components will be preferred.\nKnow-how and use Creo & PDM link will be added advantage.\nHas already worked (preferably) with Train builders & interior suppliers.\nAble to demonstrate management of engineering teams when applicable.\nBeing agile, ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline.\nAble to work in an international & multicultural environment within a matrix organization structure.\nGood written and spoken communication skills (in English).
