We’re making the lives of people who travel easier and more enjoyable while constantly developing new, intelligent mobility solutions!\nWe are looking for System Engineer - Signalling Services\nThe System Engineer - Signalling Services is responsible for supporting local and global service bids, maintenance contracts, and project execution activities related to railway signalling systems\nThe position demands strong system level technical expertise in various modern metro signaling technologies like CBTC / ETCS / IxL, etc and a thorough understanding of Railway technical requirements / system requirement specifications.\nThe role involves maintenance engineering, system analysis, technical bid preparation, lifecycle support, cost estimation, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant signalling service solutions.\nThe system engineer will contribute to preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance strategies while ensuring adherence to customer requirements, railway standards, safety regulations, and company processes.\nYou’ll make a difference by\nConduct technical discussions with all stakeholders.\nAct as a problem solver while ensuring compliance with applicable railway standards and project requirements.\nAct as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for signalingservice system engineering, ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.\nBid & Tender Support\nAnalyze customer requirements, technical specifications, and tender documents.\nSupport preparation of technical service proposals for signaling maintenance and service contracts.\nDevelop maintenance concepts, staffing models, maintenance plans, and service strategies.\nEstimate service workload, spare parts requirements, tools, and asset lifecycle costs.\nSupport cost calculations, risk assessments, and bid reviews.\nCoordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, operations, and commercial teams during bid preparation.\nSupport technical clarifications and customer queries during tender phases.\nProject Support\nSupport execution of signaling service and maintenance projects.\nReview signaling system architecture and maintenance requirements.\nPrepare maintenance documentation, procedures, and work instructions.\nMonitor project deliverables, milestones, and technical compliance.\nSupport system modifications, upgrades, migrations, and obsolescence management activities.\nParticipate in site support activities when required.\nMaintenance Engineering\nDevelop preventive and corrective maintenance plans.\nAnalyze failures, incidents, and system performance data.\nSupport root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement initiatives.\nDefine spare parts strategies and lifecycle support plans.\nContribute to RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) calculations / demonstrations\nSupport maintenance optimization and asset management initiatives.\nTechnical Documentation\nPrepare technical reports, maintenance plans, maintenance manuals, method statements, and service documentation.\nMaintain configuration and technical records.\nEnsure documentation compliance with customer and organizational standards.\nCustomer & Stakeholder Management\n·Interface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.\n·Participate in bid meetings, technical review meetings and project discussions.\n·Support customer presentations and technical workshops.\n\nQuality, Safety & Compliance\n·Ensure compliance with tender requirements, railway signalling standards and safety requirements.\n·Support quality audits and process improvement initiatives.\n·Follow company EHS and quality management procedures.\n\nSystem knowledge on below key subsystems is required\n·Interlocking Systems (Electronic/Computer Based Interlocking)\n·Track circuits, Axle counters, Point machines, Level crossing systems\n·Signals and route control systems\n·Centralized Traffic Control (CTC)\n·Automatic Train Protection (ATP) systems\n·Onboard and Wayside signaling equipment\n·Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC)\n·ETCS Level 2 system\nDesired Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering\n8-10 years of experience in railway signalling systems, maintenance engineering, service engineering, or signalling projects.\nExperience in maintenance and service bid preparation is required.\nExposure to metro, mainline, or urban rail signalling projects is required.\nExperience working in multicultural and global project environments is an advantage.\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
