If you are ready to be part of a transformative journey, come and join us.\nWe are looking for a Technical Field Services Engineer to come and join the team in Ashby on a Hybrid Basis.As Technical Field Services Assistant Engineer you will understand and interpret specifications and engineer solutions to customer requirements.\nYou will operate under supervision in compliance with required company standards, providing engineering maintenance support, post-project installation & commissioning services, including emergency telephone support and preventative maintenance.\nThis is a diverse role which will provide you with the challenge of adapting to a variety of different systems and demands, along with the opportunity to develop your professional experience and career.\nYou’ll make an impact by ...\nCompliance with quality procedures, processes and guidelines.\nMaintenance Support, Installation and commissioning support.\nPerforming preventative maintenance activities.\nProvision of maintenance 24/7, including telephone support and emergency callout.\nSupporting customers - preparing & re-instating work areas for engineering activities.\nEstablishing compliance with specifications.\nInstall, commission and replace equipment components to meet specifications.\nConfiguring products to manufactures requirements and customers guidelines/instruction.\nInterpreting technical specifications and drawings.\nMonitoring the use of test equipment, inspecting products and performing equipment testing.\nDiagnosing faults in products and assets.\nRemoving/replacing components or sub-assemblies from assemblies.\nDealing with variations and defects in products and assets.\nDeveloping yourself professionally in your role and work with others.\nContributing to effective working relationships.\nIdentifying and suggest improvements to business processes and potential developments to engineering products/processes.\nYour success will be grounded by\nIt is vital that the Technical Field Services Assistant Engineer is able to manage under supervision a variety of responsibilities with a diverse Stakeholder base. Success in this role will depend on a combination of technical and personal attributes.\nWe are therefore looking for an individual with the following experience/qualifications\nDegree Engineering qualified (or equivalent).\nProven installation & commissioning of SCADA control systems.\nEmergency callout duties including telephone support.\nFault diagnosis and resolution.\nCustomer interaction/interfacing (ideally on-site).\nProven experience and knowledge of relevant engineering disciplines.\nExperience and knowledge of engineering process/procedures at all stages of the engineering lifecycle.\nLUL Sentinel & PTS card holder.\nIET membership would be advantageous.\nYou’ll benefit from ...\nAt Siemens Mobility, we believe that work should work for you.
