Our culture encourages creativity, welcomes fresh thinking, and focuses on growth, so our people, our business, and our customers can achieve their full potential.\nPosition Overview\nSimcenter Motionsolve™ is a physics-based, integrated multibody solver that enables you to:\nDescribe systems by specifying their physical properties and connectivity\nFormulate the governing equations of the system using the principles of mechanics\nNumerically solve the equations to compute the system behavior\nImprove their performance through design exploration and optimization.\nWhat you will be doing\nThis opening is for a Technical Specialist Intern for Simcenter MotionView (pre-processor) and Simcenter Motionsolve (solver).\nAs a Technical Specialist Intern for Simcenter MotionSolve, the candidate would work closely with program managers, software developers, testers and technical writers to test the software for multibody applications, create example models, test different user scenarios, provide feedback to improve the software, create user guides, tutorials and sales collateral.\nWhat you will bring\nBasics:\nBachelor or Masters in mechanical, aerospace, structural engineering or related field\nKnowledge in Multibody Dynamics Analysis, Formulations and Numerical Methods\nFamiliarity in working with any CAD/CAE software\nInterest in or experience in writing and publishing both task-based and reference-based software documentation in a variety of formats\nAbility to both provide and receive constructive criticism and an appreciation for its importance within the creative process\nFamiliarity with Microsoft office tools\nPreferred:\nExperience with any commercial or educational multibody applications such as Simcenter Motionview/Motionsolve working on real world applications especially in vehicle applications.\nExperience in working with CAD and/or simulation software programs\nFamiliarity with video editing software such as Camtasia\nAbility to collaborate successfully within cross-functional teams\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment\nPortfolio of writing samples\nFamiliar with LaTeX and Docstring\nWhy us?\nWorking at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
