This role can be based in Chicago, IL or Buffalo Grove, IL.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nSupport business across Smart Infrastructure \nReceive regular, formal classroom and virtual training in Agile software development, technical skill development, leadership, and develop an eye for business \nWork alongside senior technical writers and other program participants to deliver business value on tight deadlines \nReport out regularly to senior business leaders on deliverables \nPartner with mentors in upper management \nExposure to a global work environment \nApply problem solving skills to document complex workflows and procedures \nDevelop content with audience and purpose in mind \nWork in cross-functional team environment \nApply the tools and critical thinking skills needed to be an effective communicator in your professional life\nYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2027. \nKnowledge of Python/C++/C#/HTML/SCSS/JavaScript/TypeScript or other relevant programming languages.\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. \nCandidates must be available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week internship. \nEligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Chicago, IL as this role does not provide housing or relocation support. \n Preferred Qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. \nLeadership skills inside and outside the classroom. \nAs part of the application, you will be asked to confirm your enrollment status. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
