The Electrical Products (EP) Business of Siemens Industry, Inc. is experiencing market growth and demand, and we continue to invest in our underlying technologies to support this growth. EP is undergoing a digital transformation using Agile, Analytics, GPT and Low-Code / No-Code applications.
We are seeking a Test & Integration Engineering Manager within our R&D group located in Peachtree Corners GA.
Position Overview:
Siemens Industry is looking for a Test and Integration Manager for their Electronics Research and Development engineering group, to work out of their Peachtree Corners, GA location. In this role you will lead the Test and Integration team, working closely with hardware and software development teams on IoT based products and systems. Application areas will include both residential and industrial power systems which communicate through standard interfaces such as wi-fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and ethernet for control and monitoring. Systems will encompass advanced circuit protection techniques, AC and DC power distribution, and other advanced features still in development.
The team is also responsible for specification and design of software driven test equipment to be used in high volume manufacturing. This includes contributing to existing product manufacturing to optimize processes as well as new product introduction for our emerging intelligent, highly connected product portfolio. This role is responsible for leading a team to develop test equipment that will drive future revenue, lower cost, improve manufacturability, improve market share, and/or comply with industry standards.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
- Work with hardware and software development teams, both onshore and offshore, to develop connected, next generation systems for residential and industrial power applications.
- Work with Product Management to define and specify next generation features and functions as these systems evolve.
- Prioritize projects with input from engineering management, product management, and manufacturing.
- Support customer facing teams, such as Application Engineering and Customer Engineering with product and technical expertise as needed.
- Ensure the Test and Integration team follows appropriate design practices, follow necessary PLM process steps, and meet industry and regulatory requirements including UL Standards, the National Electrical Code, IEEE Standards, ANSI Standards, Canadian Standards Association, NEMA Standards, and utility requirements.
- Manage resources to maximize output.
- Lead and develop test facilities both at the Peachtree Corners location as well as the “Arc Room” at the Tucker location.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience with the following:
- Working with digital systems encompassing high volume interactive edge devices, connected to a head end or cloud, delivering a service or function to end users.
- Working with customers on deployment of digital systems.
- Leading a team of technical professionals including offshore development teams with the ability to motivate and engage others to deliver results and to grow a team.
- Detail oriented work, analytical problem solving combined with strong organizational skills.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve issues.
- 5+ years of experience with the following:
- Strong knowledge of UL style electrical distribution products and solutions.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems for high volume electronic products.
- Presenting to leadership and greater team.
- Managing business financials including budget, CapEx, and OpEx.
- Supporting multiple projects simultaneously from multiple product development teams.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience working with Azure and/or Amazon cloud infrastructure
- Travel required will be less than 10%
- Test automation experience including Python and Robot test framework
- Residential and commercial circuit breaker, ATS, and PSM is highly preferred

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
