We move with urgency, learn as we go, and work together to leave things better than we found them.\nWho We Are Looking For\nWe’re hiring a hands-on Software Engineer to shape the next generation of our reporting and analytics UI - the dashboards, charts, grids, and self-service exploration tools our users rely on every day. This is a full-stack role with flexibility based on the candidate’s experience and strengths: it may operate as an individual contributor and subject matter expert or lead a small team of engineers. In either capacity, the differentiator is UI excellence. You know how to turn complex data into fast, intuitive experiences, ship continuously, and use AI-enabled engineering practices to move faster without sacrificing quality or accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nContribute as a hands-on subject matter expert or lead a small development team - planning and breaking down work, reviewing PRs, coaching engineers, and driving delivery.\n\nBuild polished dashboards highlight data intelligence tools users have come to expect and reporting flows for portfolio, compliance, and operational analytics.\n\nIntegrate with .NET/C# backend services through REST APIs with solid error handling and security patterns.\n\nCreate advanced data exploration experiences using:\n\nHighcharts (time-series, drilldowns, heatmaps/treemaps)\n\nAG Grid Enterprise (grouping, pivoting, aggregation, filtering, Excel/PDF export)\n\nWork across the stack to deliver reporting end-to-end: report-ready datasets → efficient APIs → high-performing UI.\n\nPartner with backend/data engineers on data modeling, query optimization, and performance at scale (100K+ rows).\n\nEstablish standards for report correctness, validation, auditability, and tenant-specific configuration.\n\nBuild confidence with unit + E2E testing (Playwright) and leverage AI tools to improve velocity and quality.\n\nSupport production readiness: monitoring, logging, triage, and iterative UX/performance improvements.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years building and owning end-to-end product features in production.\n\nProven experience delivering analytics/reporting UIs (dashboards, grids, charting, exports).\n\nStrong SQL (SQL Server preferred): aggregation, tuning, report-friendly modeling.\n\nExperience designing/consuming REST APIs and collaborating on contracts/performance.\n\nExperience leading a small team is a plus, including coaching, conducting reviews, driving accountability, and keeping a strong focus on delivery.\n\nClear communicator who can explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nTechnical Stack:\nFrontend: Angular 12+ / TypeScript (legacy AngularJS migration in progress), Angular Material\n\nUI/Visualization: AG Grid Enterprise, Highcharts, D3\n\nBackend: .NET 10 / C# (ASP.NET Core Web APIs)\n\nDatabase: SQL Server\n\nTooling: Git, Angular CLI, Webpack, npm/yarn, Playwright\n\nNice to Have:\nExtensive experience using AI tools including Claude, Github Copilot, GSD, BMAD, etc\n\nFinancial services / fintech / investment management experience\n\nPortfolio analytics familiarity (performance, attribution, risk) and time-series visualization\n\nExperience building self-service report builders or visual query tooling\n\nPDF/print workflows and robust Excel export pipelines\n\nContributions to component libraries or design systems\n\nAll applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.\nWhat We Offer\nGreat work should come with more than a paycheck.
