Sierra Circuit serves all industries including aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and telecommunications, building PCBs to the highest industry standards, and keeping innovation at the forefront of everything we do.\nSUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:\nThe Drilling Area Assistant position is responsible for getting the jobs ready for Drilling and moving them out of the department when completed.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nDrilling Area Assistant- Trainee\nReview Travelers and follow any special instructions.\nPerform Flash Rout & Spot Face operations\nMove jobs in ProCim and between buildings\nRun De-burring equipment\nHand sand and cleaning of panels as required\nAssist with Kitting \nArea maintenance - general cleaning and trash removal\nAbility to stand/walk 8 + hours per day.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:\nExcellent oral and written communication skills. \nExceptional multi-tasking, organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management\nSelf-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency.\nMust be able to maintain confidentiality & professionalism at all times.\nProficient in Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.\nHigh School Diploma preferred. \nAbility to read and understand technical work instructions.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum.\nAbility to stand and walk throughout the day.\nAbility to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time.\nAbility to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.\nSUPERVISES: None\nSHIFT: 1st Shift 6AM-230PM Tuesday-Saturday\nSALARY: $20 to $23 Hourly\nMUST be a US Personnel\nJOB TYPE: Non-Exempt\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
