Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).\nThis is a full-time direct-hire position located at or near our Hoover Road facility in Milan, Ohio.\nResponsibilities\nOVERVIEW\nDegreed engineer with experience in aerospace and/or mechanical engineering, including the design, analysis, operation, or integration of pressurized mechanical and fluid systems. Experience may include process piping, pressure vessels, high-pressure fluid distribution systems, valves, pumps, regulators, instrumentation, and associated process equipment. Experience with thermal and/or structural analysis, pressure system design considerations, and project coordination within an industrial, aerospace, research, or test environment desired.\nTypical Functions:\nAdhere to all applicable Company, Customer and Industry safety standards and practices.\nReview drawings, analyze components, direct technician work, execute and follow the procurement of facility components and hardware, and create documentation to meet test mission requirements of a high-energy hypersonic test system. Systems are custom-engineered mechanical/fluid systems operating near the limits of material and physical capabilities.\nAssist other engineers in the development of PowerPoint and other presentations and regular status reports.\nAble to organize multiple tasks with various project leads/management to ensure schedule is maintained.\nInterface with project leads/management to support integrated master schedule task status updates.\nAssist in maintaining various project rosters and task registers as required.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience with pressurized mechanical or fluid systems, including process piping, fluid distribution systems, pressure vessels, pumps, valves, regulators, instrumentation, pr related process equipment.\nMechanical and aerospace design capability and knowledge\nExperience with analytical structural, thermal CFD or fluid analysis desired\nFamiliarity with aerospace and/or aerospace related facility projects\nAbility to realize designs in solid modeling software a plus\nKnowledge of MS Office software required\nComfortable with multi-tasking, seeking solutions independently and strong organizational skills necessary. \nBackground or coursework in process systems, process piping design, fluid distribution systems, pressure vessels, pumps, valves, instrumentation, and process flow development desired.\nProfessional Engineer ceritification a plus.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nExcellent communication (verbal and written) and phone skills.\nAbility to hear normal conversation.
