IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Responsibilities:\nManage all programmatic aspects of multiple assigned projects, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.\nTrack and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.\nSupervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes.\nServe as the primary point of contact (POC) for customers.\nParticipate in business resource planning and tracking in coordination with other corporate entities.\nFormulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.\nIdentify, track, and resolve program issues and problems.\nManage program risks and opportunities by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them.\nInterface on project/program status and develop proposals.\nConduct research and fact-finding for project/program needs.\nCoordinate audits and negotiate with project/program stakeholders to ensure initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.\nSupport the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.\n6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.\n1+ years' experience leading teams made up of 3+ cross functional team members.\nRelevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required. \nHigher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. \nExperience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes. Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.\nExperience with contract negotiations, and the difference in contract types.\nExperience with managing multiple projects and/or a small program.\nExperience with being the primary focal for a customer.\nDemonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.\nAbility to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management. \nPerform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc. \nCapability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.\nLeadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.\nRequires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.\nRequires skills in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines.\nAbility to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance\nQualifications We Prefer:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification (will not be considered in lieu of required experience).\nAdvanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field (may be considered in lieu of 1 year of required project/program management experience).\nUnderstanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).\nWorking knowledge of Program Management Institute Program Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).\nManaging projects using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), agile, and or spiral development models.\nFamiliarity with projects requiring Earned Value Management.\nUnderstanding with application tools and data architectures.\nAbility to reinforce the usage & application of Corporate PM tools.\nExperience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and Processes.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to work in an office or hybrid environment.\nFrequent use of a computer and standard office equipment.\nMust be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nOccasional travel may be required to support project needs and team collaboration.\nThis posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.\nEstimated Starting Salary Range: $131,010.00 - $180,138.75. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
