This includes supporting the operation of software environments, incident response, and problem-solving to meet the IT needs of the business.Key Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will assist in the establishment and maintenance of database management systems, standards, and guidelines while contributing to the conceptual design and logical database development. You will participate in capacity planning and external data interface specification, as well as develop and implement data loading and maintenance plans. A key responsibility will be ensuring that database security policies are followed and maintained. Additionally, you will assist in configuring and upgrading software and support the operation of software environments, including incident response and problem-solving. Collaboration with team members will be essential to meet the IT needs of the business. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nRequires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).\nTypically entry-level position with 0 - 2 years of experience.\nCertification varies by business system.\nBasic understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, and business processes.\nFamiliarity with software environments and upgrades.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.\nKnowledge of database design principles and best practices.\nUnderstanding of data security and privacy regulations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nCompensation:\nPay Range:\n$67,087.00 - $92,243.50Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.\nElevate Your Career\nAt Sierra Space, we are committed to your personal and professional development.
