As a member of the FP&A team you will report to FP&A leadership, supporting our Business Operations team and CFO by providing analytics, reporting, oversight of financials, and performance measurements across the company.This FP&A Analyst II plays a critical role in driving financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision making by developing budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nRequires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).\nTypically 1+ years of related experience.\nExperience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.\nExperience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.\nExperience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.\nExperience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).\nStrong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands-on experience in financial operations, cost management, accounting, or contract financial analysis \nDemonstrated ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources and communicate findings effectively \nAdvanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) \nStrong analytical and business acumen with proven data analysis capabilities \nCertifications: CPA, CFA, or FP&A.\nProficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nFamiliarity with financial planning and analysis best practices.\nExperience in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.\nKnowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.\nCompensation:\nPay Range:\n$64,493.00 - $88,678.25Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.\nIMPORTANT NOTICE:\nTo conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.\nElevate Your Career\nAt Sierra Space, we are committed to your personal and professional development.
