This role includes developing subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, negotiating contract terms, and managing supplier relationships. They will have intermediate knowledge of subcontract management and contract law, an understanding of cost analysis, pricing, and proposal evaluations, and familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of moderate to complex subcontract agreements, ensuring effective oversight from initiation to closeout. You will conduct cost and price analyses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing while monitoring subcontractor performance and compliance with contract requirements, taking corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, you will manage various contract types, including Fixed Firm Price (FFP), Cost Plus, and Time and Materials (T&M), and negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors to achieve favorable agreements. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nRequires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).\nTypically 2+ years of related experience.\nProficient in Microsoft suite of products.\nEPR/MRP experience.\nIntermediate knowledge of subcontract management and contract law.\nUnderstanding of cost analysis, pricing, and proposal evaluations.\nFamiliarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.\nGood negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex subcontract agreements.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertifications: SCM-related certifications.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nExtensive experience with SAP.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nExperience with advanced subcontracting strategies and best practices.\nProven track record of managing high-value and complex subcontract agreements.\nCompensation:\nPay Range:\n$76,332.00 - $104,956.50Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.\nElevate Your Career\nAt Sierra Space, we are committed to your personal and professional development.
