The Transportation Specialist ensures compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of company vehicles. The Transportation Specialist plays a vital role in client care by supporting timely arrivals, assisting passengers as needed, and adapting to dynamic schedules or routes. The Transportation Specialist will have excellent time management, professionalism, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\n1. Safe Driving & Navigation\nConsistently demonstrate safe and responsible driving practices to ensure the well-being of all passengers and road users.\nComply with all applicable state and federal traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.\nNavigate efficiently by accurately following assigned routes, maps, and GPS directions.\nAdapt to changing traffic conditions by executing timely rerouting to maintain punctuality and service reliability.\n2. Passenger Assistance\nOpen vehicle doors and assist passengers when necessary\n3. Vehicle Loading & Unloading\nSafely load and secure cargo, luggage, and equipment to prevent damage or shifting during transport.\nEfficiently manage the loading and unloading process to maintain schedule adherence and operational flow.\n4. Vehicle Cleanliness & Presentation\nMaintain a clean and professional vehicle exterior to uphold company standards and positive public image.\nKeep the vehicle interior free of debris and clutter to provide a comfortable and hygienic environment for all occupants.\nRegularly clean windows, windshield, and mirrors to ensure clear visibility and safe driving conditions.\n5. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety\nConduct routine vehicle checks and perform basic maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fueling, and safety inspections, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\n6. Documentation & Reporting\nAccurately complete required documentation such as trip logs, mileage records, and cargo or passenger reports to support compliance and operational tracking.\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerforms other duties as may be assigned.\nFollows and supports TPEG policies and procedures.\nWorks collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external partners.\nRepresents TPEG, Inc., by embodying the mission, vision and values of the organization.\nTravels occasionally during the workday and on occasional overnight stay.
