The SoC architect will guide the team to develop system IPs such as IOMMU, interrupt controllers, memory controllers and a wide variety of IPs to be used in datacenter and networking SoCs . He will also be deeply involved in the platform security and will help to develop groundbreaking new security features.\nWhat you will do:\nDefine features\nArchitect system IPs like IOMMU and system level solutions.\n\nDefine the platform security requirements and define the architecture of the needed security features.\n\nWork with Product Management, Product Architect to define architecture / product specifications\n\nDesign and carry out experiments to research and develop architecture / micro-architecture features\n\nWork with the design team to implement and deliver system IPs\n\nInterface with customers\nThe SoC architect will have a chance to interact directly with customers to understand their needs, use cases and to help resolve their concerns/issues.\n\nInterface with RVIA\nThe SoC architect will participate in various SIG/TG/HC related to the system architecture.\n\nRequirements:\nMS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture\n\n10+ years of experience in SoC architecture\n\n5+ years involved in the engineering team to deliver HW products.\n\nHas experience in SoC design flow, including spec definition, microarchitecture design, and performance modeling.\n\nKnowledgeable in CPU architectures, power management and SoC design.\n\nDeep understanding in platform hardware, operating systems, device drivers and firmware interactions.\n\nPay & Benefits\nConsistent with SiFive values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline, and our compensation range reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the location of the role. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience.\nFor candidates who receive and offer, the starting salary will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, such qualifications as, skill level, competencies, and work location. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee.\nBase Pay Range\n$254,340.00-$310,860.00In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/ incentive compensation and/ or equity.
