The candidate will drive DV strategy, architecture validation, and closure for high-performance processors, ensuring functional correctness, performance, and quality at silicon level.\nKey Responsibilities\nCPU Core Verification\n\nOwn end-to-end verification of CPU core components (Fetch, Decode, Execute, Memory, Pipeline, Cache, MMU)\n\nValidate microarchitectural features such as:\n\nOut-of-order execution\n\nBranch prediction\n\nCache coherency\n\nVirtual memory & paging\n\nDevelop test plans from architecture specifications and ensure full coverage closure\n\nVerification Methodology & Execution\nLead verification using System Verilog / UVM\n\nDevelop:\nTestbenches\n\nConstrained-random tests\n\nScoreboards and checkers\n\nCoverage models (functional + code)\n\nDrive regressions and debug complex failures across simulation/emulation platforms\n\nArchitecture & Feature Validation\nWork closely with Architecture & Design teams to:\n\nUnderstand ISA behavior (e.g., ARM ISA, RISC-V, or x86)\n\nValidate corner cases, exceptions, interrupts\n\nPerform ISA-level validation and compliance testing\n\n Additional Information:\nThis position requires a successful background and reference checks and satisfactory proof of your right to work in:\nIndiaAny offer of employment for this position is also contingent on the Company verifying that you are a authorized for access to export-controlled technology under applicable export control laws or, if you are not already authorized, our ability to successfully obtain any necessary export license(s) or other approvals.\nSiFive is an equal opportunity employer.
