This position will lead, and be responsible for, the maintenance, evolution, and management of the tactical network configurations associated with the Block 2 (B2) architecture of the DISA AISR - DT program. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.\nRequirements\n8+ years of experience in networking (CCNA with 5 years of experience in networking or CCNP with 2 years of experience in networking will be considered).\nStrong troubleshooting skills.\nNetwork configuration managements experience.\nNetwork configuration automated generation experience.\nNetwork configuration design experience.\nAbility to display professional authority on networking topics while interacting with customers and key leaders.\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nMandatory Certifications:\nCOMPTIA Security + or IAT II equivalent:\nCCNA Security / CySA+ / GICSP.\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.\nWell qualified candidates may be provided a 90 day window to achieve the mandatory certification.\nPersonnel Clearance Level:\nCandidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.\nClearance may be sponsored for ideal candidates.\nEducation Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.\nEssential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):\nIntegration and design work related to existing or emerging networking portions of the program.\nMaintenance of existing program network configurations repository.\nEngineering configuration changes in response to emergent or planned architecture modifications.\nCoordination of configuration delivery and access to customer sites and systems.\nInterfacing with government and civilian program partners for updates and planning.\nConfiguration design in support of new integrations or products associated with the program.\nDevelops and deploys plans and designs of network systems that will meet DISA AISR-DT requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. \nConducts tactical network architecture design, feasibility assessment, and inter-tier collaboration. \nDefines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. \nTroubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. \nKeeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices.\nSalary Range: $90,000 -
