The team brings together experienced professionals from leading Ukrainian IT companies to work on highly important and mission-critical initiatives.\nPROJECT\nThe project focuses on building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on backup strategies, disaster recovery, operational reliability, and infrastructure standardization. The environment includes AWS multi-account architecture, Kubernetes-based platforms, and Infrastructure as Code implemented with Terraform.\nAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and improve enterprise-grade backup and recovery solutions, automate operational workflows, validate recovery procedures against real RTO/RPO metrics, and contribute to strengthening the security and resilience of cloud infrastructure.\nKey Technologies: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, Bash, Python, GitLab, AWS Backup, EKS\n Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure across multi-account environments\nDevelop and support Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform modules and reusable configurations\nConfigure and standardize backup and disaster recovery processes for cloud services and SaaS platforms\nImplement secure backup strategies including cross-account replication, encryption, Object Lock (WORM), and isolated backup environments\nPerform restore testing for databases and critical systems and validate real RTO/RPO indicators\nCreate and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures in English\nAutomate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash and/or Python\nManage and support Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments\nMonitor backup jobs and infrastructure reliability and configure alerting mechanisms\nCollaborate with internal DevOps teams through merge request workflows and infrastructure reviews\nAssess and improve cloud infrastructure resilience and security posture\n At least 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services including Organizations, IAM, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, KMS, and EKS\nDeep understanding of AWS multi-account architecture and cloud security best practices\nProduction-level experience with Terraform including modules, remote state management, and multi-environment deployments\nStrong practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm\nSolid Linux administration skills\nExperience with automation and scripting using Bash and/or Python\nProven experience implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies in production environments\nHands-on experience performing production data restoration and validating RTO/RPO metrics\nExperience writing technical documentation and operational runbooks in English\nUnderstanding of cloud security principles and infrastructure resilience practices\nAt least an Intermediate level of English\nWILL BE A PLUS\nExperience with GitLab APIs, export, and repository mirroring\nExperience with SaaS backup solutions\nExperience backing up Microsoft 365 environments\nFamiliarity with security-focused or
