The environment includes distributed cloud infrastructure, modern engineering practices, and high-performance data processing solutions designed for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.\nPROJECT\nYou will join a team responsible for designing and scaling modern data infrastructure capable of handling both batch and streaming workloads. The project includes platform modernization initiatives, architecture evolution, and implementation of secure and reliable data pipelines using cloud-native technologies. The role combines hands-on engineering, architectural ownership, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Analysts, and Software Engineers.\nKey Technologies: AWS, Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, Kafka, SQL, ETL/ELT, Streaming Data Processing\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms, pipelines, and data products\nDrive architecture discussions related to data modeling, storage strategies, integration patterns, and platform evolution\nTake end-to-end ownership of technical solutions and contribute to architectural and engineering decision-making\nDevelop and implement batch and streaming data solutions using modern cloud-native technologies\nLead platform modernization initiatives and continuous technical improvements\nEstablish and promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and data quality\nMentor and support Data Engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing\nLead onboarding activities for new team members and support their integration into the engineering organization\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions\nContribute to technical roadmaps and influence engineering direction across teams\n 5-8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, including 3-5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience\nUpper-Intermediate or higher English level\nStrong experience building and operating scalable data platforms and pipelines in cloud environments\nAdvanced SQL knowledge and strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles\nStrong programming skills in Python\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and Kafka\nExperience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows\nStrong AWS cloud experience and knowledge of cloud-native data services\nExperience designing modern data warehouse or lakehouse architectures\nStrong system design and problem-solving skills\nAbility to balance business and technical priorities while making architecture decisions\nExperience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams\nWILL BE A PLUS\nExperience with Scala or Java\nExperience with
