If you are open to joining a supportive, passionate team, we have an attractive opportunity for you!\nPlease note:This position can work fully remotely, but new hires will be required to come to our main office located in Perrysburg, OH, for an initial 2-week in-person paid orientation and training period.\nNote to applicants: This is not an Information Technology (IT) position.\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A PROJECT MANAGER AT SIGMA:\nCore Description: The Project Manager manages small to large-scale complex projects from project initiation to project close-out. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper communication, accurate and on-time reporting, and management of the schedule. The Project Manager is also responsible for maintaining and growing their client(s) accounts.\nProject Leadership:\nServe as a mentor and coach to assistant project managers, offering guidance and support.\nProject Planning:\nEstablish, track, and control project cost, scope, schedule, and budget to deliver assigned projects in accordance with contractual agreement.\nCreation of Proposals. Lead kickoff meetings and discovery calls. Works with the Project Engineer on scope, schedule, and budget\nPlan, schedule, and execute all phases of projects or programs in accordance with project management processes, policies, guidelines, and corporate governance.\nDevelop high-level project workflow and ensure project scopes and milestone dates for all assigned projects.\nProvide project cost forecasting over the life of the project or program.\nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products/services.\nProject Monitoring and Reporting:\nPrepare project change orders and/or correction actions in collaboration with the client, Project Engineer(s), and Operations Manager\nMonitor and report on key metrics, customer satisfaction, and performance against objectives.\nMaintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and sales activities in the CRM system.\nProject Closure:\nEnsure the orderly closure of projects, including finalizing all project activities, obtaining client acceptance, and conducting post-project evaluations.\nDocument lessons learned and share best practices with the organization.\nBudget Management:\nDevelop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.\nProject invoicing.\nRisk Management:\nIdentify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project life cycle.\nCommunication:\nLiaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.\nMaintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders. Provide regular project updates to management and team members.\nLead project update calls and in-person meetings with external clients throughout the project life cycle.\nMonitor and manage expectations of communication between staff and external clients.\nCustomer/Client Relationship Management:\nBuild and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and business objectives.\nBuild an understanding of the customer's organizational structure and decision-making process.\nServe as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and troubleshoot any issues.\nProactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional offerings to existing customers.\nPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales materials to clients as needed.\nStay informed about industry trends and developments to provide value to clients.\nContribute towards and execute on the strategic plan to target new business opportunities.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nEducation*: H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required\nExperience*: 5+ years of relevant industry experience, 3+ years of Project Management experience *. Management may consider other education and/or work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position.\nProject management certification preferred.\nProven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and on budget.\nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.\nMust be results-driven with a dedicated focus on achieving successful project performance, customer satisfaction, and organic sales growth.\nDemonstrated level of understanding of commonly used project management concepts, practices, and procedures.\nAdaptability and problem-solving abilities.\nExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAvailable during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the week.
