You'llbuild and scale the applications behind our events and media business, working closely with product, design, and QA to turn requirements into reliable, well-tested software. If you enjoy owning the whole stack and making good technical decisions, we want to hear from you.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and maintainscalable, full-stack web applications with Laravel on the back end and React/Vue on the front end \nContribute to architecture decisions for applications built to scale: service design, data modeling, caching, and queue-based processing \nDesign and build RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems \nDevelop reusable Laravel packages and front-end components shared across projects \nOwn quality and performance: refactor legacy code, optimize queries, and improve response times \nWrite automated tests and take part in code reviews and CI/CD improvements \nDocument technical decisions, APIs, and specifications\nWork with product, design, and other engineering teams to scope and deliver features\nRequirements:\n5+ years of professional experience with modern OOP PHP (8.x), including 3+ years with Laravel\nStrong knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem: Eloquent, queues and jobs, events, service container, middleware, and authentication (Sanctum or Passport)\n3+ years of production experience with React or Vue and TypeScript\nExperience designing RESTful APIs, including versioning, validation, authentication, and error handling\nSolid SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL): schema design, indexing, and query optimization\nExperience with caching and queues (Redis, RabbitMQ)\nHands-on automated testing: PHPUnitor Pest, plus front-end tests (Vitest, Jest, or Playwright)\nComfortable with Git-based workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines\nComfortable working in an AI-assisted workflow (e.g.Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor), with the judgment to review, verify, and take ownership of generated code\nGood written and spoken English\nNice to have\nInertia.js, Livewire, or Next.js/Nuxt\nTailwind CSS\nDocker and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Forge, Vapor)\nStatic analysis (PHPStan/Larastan) and code style tooling (Pint)\nReal-time features (Reverb, WebSockets)\nExperience with event platforms, ticketing, or payment integrations
