quickly and effectively.\nStructure press releases according to professional PR and editorial best practices.\nEnsure press releases clearly communicate the who, what, when, where, and whyof each announcement.\nAdapt writing style and messaging according to the subject matter, target audience, and intended media outlets.\nProduce press releases covering company announcements and event announcements, as well as coverage of previous conference material.\nIncorporate quotes from executives, partners, speakers, or other relevant stakeholders in a natural and compelling way.\nResearch & Editorial Development\nConduct independent research to understand the context behind each press release.\nIdentify relevant industry developments, trends, statistics, and background information that can strengthen a story.\nVerify facts, names, titles, figures, dates, and other important details before publication.\nAsk clear and relevant questions when information provided is incomplete or unclear.\nDistinguish between genuinely newsworthy information and promotional messaging.\nEnsure all content is accurate, credible, and suitable for external publication.\nStay informed about key developments and trends across the global iGaming, gaming, sports betting, and technology industries.\nEvents & Industry News\nWrite press releases related to SiGMA events, conferences, exhibitions.\nTurn event announcements, speaker confirmations, partnerships, sponsorships, awards, and key milestones into compelling press releases.\nWhere required, attend industry events and gather information for press releases and news announcements.\nInterview relevant stakeholders and turn interview insights and quotes into polished PR content.\nIdentify press release opportunities arising from event developments.\nWork with internal teams to ensure event-related announcements are timely, accurate, and aligned with the wider communications strategy.\nCollaboration & Workflow\nWork closely with marketing, communications, editorial, events, and other internal teams to gather information and develop press releases.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to source accurate information and strong quotes.\nManage multiple press release assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.\nRespond efficiently to revisions and stakeholder feedback.\nMaintain consistent editorial quality, tone, and formatting across all press releases.\nEnsure press releases are delivered on schedule and ready for distribution or publication.\nRequired Qualifications\nExcellent written and spoken English, at an advanced or native level.\nProven experience writing press releases, PR content, journalism, news content, corporate communications, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of press release structure, news writing, and editorial best practices.\nExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.\nStrong editorial judgement and the ability to identify the strongest angle in a story.\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality content.\nAbility to research topics independently and turn complex information into clear, concise, and
