All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.\nRequirements\n5-8 years of software developer experience.\n5-8 years experience developing JAVA applications.\n5-8 years developing and deploying code in Linux (RHEL preferred) environments.\n0-2 years experience creating containerized microservice applications.\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nCandidate Differentiators:\nP-8A Application Based Architecture (ABA) Experience.\nP-8A Tactical Open Mission System (TOMS) Experience.\nMINOTAUR Family of Systems (MFOS) Experience.\nComputer Programs/Software:\nLinux\nRHEL\nJava\nPython\nAtlassian Tools\nDocker\nPersonnel Clearance Level:\nCandidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. \nA clearance will not be sponsored.\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering.\nEssential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):\nAssist in the development of JAVA applications supporting either large enterprise TOMS application or smaller microservice ABA applications.\nSupport deployment and integration of applications through knowledge of RHEL execution environments, including a solid understanding of Linux CLI commands.\nUnderstanding and use of containerized applications and hypervisors for ABA application hosting.\nCreate scripting solutions and standalone applications to resolve smaller scale problems and support SSA requests.\nAssist in on-going implementation of the Agile Development methodology. \nSupport all efforts to remove impediments of the engineering team to ensure on time delivery and completion of sprints and deliverables.\nSupport the development, design, and architecture recommendations for current and future PEO C4I Software (SW) and hardware (HW) baselines.\nSupport design solutions integrated into any common network/hardware baseline or environment.\nDevelop and provide inputs to functional, allocated, and product baseline engineering documentation, design-related technical briefs.\nImplement Agile development methodology and participate in planning activities using PO directed Agile tools.\nProvide management support of enterprise Linux architectures and support building, configuring, and securing Linux, and CoreOS virtual machines, operating systems/applications, and integrating these into an enterprise architecture.\nConfigure VMware hypervisors.\nDevelop test plans and functional test objectives to ensure that SW and HW baselines are satisfying all requirements.\nDevelop system installation procedures.\nCreate automated Windows and Linux bare metal deployment strategies.\nInstall and configure applicable technologies;
