They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical General Operative to join their team on a commercial building project in North Dublin.\nAbout the Role\nThis is a role for an experienced Electrical General Operative working on a commercial construction project in North Dublin. The primary responsibilities will involve pulling cables and installing conduit, supporting electricians with day-to-day installation works, and ensuring the project progresses safely and efficiently.\nKey responsibilities include:\nPulling, feeding, and routing electrical cables through conduit, trunking, and cable trays\n\nInstalling and securing conduit, trunking, cable trays, and associated containment systems\n\nAssisting electricians with electrical installation works throughout the commercial building\n\nCutting, measuring, and preparing conduit and containment materials for installation\n\nDrilling, fixing brackets, and installing supports for cable containment systems\n\nAssisting with cable identification, labelling, and general cable management\n\nUsing hand tools and power tools safely and effectively\n\nMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment\n\nFollowing site health and safety procedures and instructions from supervisors and electricians\n\nEnsuring all materials and equipment are handled correctly and work is completed to a high standard\n\nSkills & Experience Required\nPrevious experience working as an Electrical General Operative on a commercial construction site\n\nExperience pulling cables and installing conduit, trunking, or cable containment systems\n\nFamiliarity with basic electrical installation tools, materials, and equipment\n\nValid Safe Pass card\n\nManual Handling certification\n\nAbility to follow instructions and work effectively alongside electricians and other trades\n\nGood attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety\n\nAbility to work independently when required and contribute to a busy site team\n\nPrevious experience on large-scale commercial projects is an advantage\n\nWhat’s on Offer\nRate between €20 - €22 per hour on a PAYE basis\n\nWork on a commercial construction project in North Dublin\n\nOpportunity to work alongside an experienced electrical team\n\nConsistent work for the duration of the project, with potential for further opportunities\n\nSupportive site environment with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship\n\nWhat’s Next\nApply now by clicking the “Apply Now” button or contact Seamus directly on 086 870 8678 for a confidential discussion.
