The working hours are Mon - Thurs: 4:00pm - 2:30am.\n Initial 12 month contract.\nAbout Your New Job\nAs a Production Operator, you will be responsible for assembling medical device products safely, accurately and in line with company procedures. You will work as part of the production team to meet quality, delivery and product release targets.\nAssembling products in line with production requirements and approved procedures.\nCompleting each step of the production process to the required quality standards.\nInspecting and testing components and finished products where required.\nIdentifying and reporting process issues, abnormalities or defects to the appropriate team lead.\nCompleting all required production, quality, inventory and safety documentation.\nFollowing SOPs, cGMP requirements and all company health and safety procedures.\nWorking with the Operations Line Lead to meet production schedules and product release targets.\nSupporting the coordination of materials and resources to maintain production.\nMonitoring work-in-progress and stock levels.\nAssisting with process and equipment validation activities when required.\nWorking closely with colleagues across Production, Quality and Engineering.\nSupporting team members and completing additional production tasks as required.\nWhat Skills You Need\nLeaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.\nPrevious experience in a production, manufacturing or regulated environment is preferred. Medical device experience would be an advantage.\nAbility to read, understand and follow written procedures and work instructions.\nGood attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.\nBasic computer literacy and numeracy skills, including experience with applications such as Word and Excel.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nA proactive, reliable and self-motivated approach.\nAbility to organise tasks and work to production deadlines.\nAvailability to work Monday to Thursday, from 4:00pm to 2:30am.\nWhat's on Offer\nA four-day working week, with evening shifts from Monday to Thursday.\nA 20% shift allowance plus 25 days holidays, bonus, health insurance and more.\nThe opportunity to build experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.\nA supportive team environment with opportunities to develop your production and technical skills.\nWhat's Next\nApply now to be considered for this Production Operator opportunity with a Galway-based medical device company.
