You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.\nYour main duties include:\nManaging project costs, budgets, valuations, variations, and financial reporting.\nPreparing and reviewing tender documents, contracts, subcontractor packages, and procurement requirements.\nManaging subcontractor accounts, payments, variations, claims, and final accounts.\nMonitoring project expenditure and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.\nSupporting contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.\nWorking closely with project managers and site teams to maintain commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.\nPreparing regular commercial reports and providing accurate financial information to senior management.\nSupporting the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of construction projects.\nWhat Skills You Need\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or civil engineering sector.\nRelevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, construction economics, or a related discipline.\nStrong experience in cost management, valuations, variations, subcontractor management, and final accounts.\nA good understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and commercial risk management.\nExcellent numerical, organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.\nThe ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.\nWhat’s on Offer\nCompetitive salary in the range of €85,000-€100,000 DOE.\nThe opportunity to work on varied and challenging construction projects from a Galway-based head office.\nA senior commercial position with professional development opportunities and potential for long-term career progression.\nWhat’s Next\nPlease submit your CV with the subject line “Quantity Surveyor Application -
