In this role, you will work at the intersection of software engineering and user experience, partnering closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow Engineers to deliver modern, scalable solutions.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in React, Material UI, and Node.js, with a strong passion for creating elegant user experiences and developing maintainable, production-quality software. You will play a key role in shaping front-end architecture, influencing development standards, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence across the product portfolio.\nA key aspect of this role is partnering closely with UX and design teams to translate designs into robust, reusable component libraries and application experiences. Experience working with Figma, including leveraging design systems and design-to-code workflows to create and maintain React component libraries, is highly valued. You will help ensure consistency between design and implementation while continuously improving the efficiency and quality of the development process.\nThe successful candidate is also comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, improve developer productivity, and enhance solution quality. Experience using tools such as Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants is highly desirable, including applying them to rapidly prototype user experiences, generate production-ready code, and contribute to the evolution of internal AI-powered development practices and workflows.\nKey Responsibilities\nFront-End Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React. \nImplement high-quality user interfaces using Material UI and modern design system principles. \nTranslate UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into production-ready solutions. \nEnsure applications meet accessibility (WCAG), usability, and responsive design standards. \nOptimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability. \nUser Experience Engineering\nChampion UX best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. \nCollaborate closely with UX Designers to refine workflows and interactions. \nParticipate in usability reviews and contribute to improving customer experiences. \nHelp evolve and maintain reusable UI components and design system assets. \nLead the definition and integration of a design system into the development workflow. \nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to developers across the team. \nConduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices. \nDrive frontend architectural discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps. \nIdentify opportunities to improve development processes, automation, and quality. \nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n7+ years of professional software development experience. \n5+ years of experience developing modern web applications using React. \nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. \nExperience building component-based user interfaces with Material UI or equivalent design systems. \nExperience designing and consuming REST APIs. \nExperience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies. \nStrong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UX best practices. \nExcellent communication, and collaboration skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience implementing enterprise design systems. \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. \nExperience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, TestCafe, or Playwright. \nExperience with Storybook and Chromatic. \nExperience with AI coding tools. \nSalary Description\n87-112
