Job Summary
Leads and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production processes. Oversees indirect production support functions to maintain operational excellence.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- This role is responsible for managing a team of Production Workers or a small Production Unit within a larger production operation
- Responsible for the quality of the products produced, the production yield - You ensure timely delivery of products
- Manages team of production worker in a production unit, ensuring targets in yield and output are met
- Initiates improvements and is responsible for safety within his work field
- Drives troubleshooting of minor issues on production line, and coordinate with other specialists (Maintenance, Engineering) to handle more critical issues
- Manages in full a group of Operators in job within own working area
- Initiates and drive small scale project, improvement initiatives
- Leads a team to execute manufacturing processes in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Coordinates resources and schedules to optimize production flow and meet targets.
- Monitors performance indicators and implements corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in manufacturing operations.
- Manages indirect production support activities, including maintenance and logistics.
- Provides training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field to ensure foundational knowledge of production processes and quality management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role managing production teams and driving process improvements.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement methodologies is essential to lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
