Optimizes on-hand component inventory to meet assigned inventory targets.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nMonitors inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.\nCoordinates with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and confirms forecast to reserve capacity.\nDrives root cause analysis and corrective actions on delivery reliability and component availability.\nActively manages component inventory health by updating stocking strategies and maintaining SAP parameters.\nIssues and controls component orders, taking actions to ensure reliable confirmations and timely deliveries.\nForecasts demand to suppliers and controls inventory within safety stock parameters to minimize slow-moving costs.\nParticipates in component phase-in/phase-out processes and prepares reports on missing components.\nMaintains logistics data in SAP and evaluates suppliers on timeliness and quantity of supplies.\nFollows up with suppliers' forecasts, including confirmation, to ensure timely capacity reservations.\nMaintains SAP parameters and logistics views.\nIssues orders for components and controls their execution. Responsible for all components belonging to the Purchasing Group & MRP Controller role.\nMaintains and controls components inventory according to established limits and safety stock parameters.\nParticipates in the phase-in and phase-out of components.\nAcquires and uses information about suppliers' holidays and scheduled downtimes to prevent delays in production orders.\nEvaluates suppliers in terms of timeliness and quantity of supplies in the GSRS.\nKnowledge and compliance with obligations under the Philips Supply Chain Security System.\nEscalates risks related to the timely execution of Purchase Orders.\nProvides consultancy for preparing the logistics contracts.\nDrives continuous improvement within the area of operation.\nCritical Experiences\nSecondary school degree\nExperience in supply chain planning or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environmen is an advantage\nEverything we’ll do for you\nYou can grow a lasting career here.
