Our culture of continuous learning, creativity, and commitment to diversity and inclusion empowers you to grow your skills and career.\nJoin us, and together, we’ll transform our industry, making a lasting difference for brighter lives and a better world.\nMore about the role\nThis is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, in Aurora, CO, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lighting products and support all technical aspects of the products in our portfolio.\nConduct mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product reliability and safety.\nValidate electrical components, such as drivers and sensors, to ensure compliance with industry standards.\nValidate multiple components into a cohesive product design\nOwn the laboratory testing environment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise and during the course of product development and maintenance.\nMore about you\nWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline\nTechnical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems \nExperience working with electrical testing equipment including thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.\nExperience with CAD design and mechanical systems analysis\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel \n*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.\nThis internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.\nPay Rate: $23 - $29 per hour (based on year of study)\nBenefits Overview: Company subsidized benefits plan offerings that include Medical and a Health Savings Account.\nEverything we’ll do for you\nYou can grow a lasting career here.
