You light the way.\nMore about the role\nThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as Process Development - SMT Manufacturing Engineer in Egypt with Signify.\nResponsible for optimizing and controlling SMT production processes to ensure high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, while supporting new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives.\n This role is responsible for improving products, processes and machinery of the Production Unit (PU) in safety, yields,\nMonitor and control SMT production processes (Printing, Pick & Place, Reflow).\nOptimize machine parameters for best yield and minimum defects.\nTroubleshoot process-related issues and reduce downtime.\nLead root cause analysis using tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.\nWork closely with Quality team to reduce defects.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation.\nDefine and update Work Instructions & SOPs.\nDrive continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma initiatives).\nCoordinate with maintenance for machine performance and preventive plans.\nEnsure proper utilization of SMT machines and manpower.\nefficiency, quality and reliability performance, ensuring stable production.\n Creates required conditions to win in the marketplace through fast and efficient NPIs (time to market), and highly efficient.\n Develops standards supporting lean manufacturing and waste reduction.\n Acts as project leader for improvement initiatives (production, documentation).\n Creates technical conditions such that the production process does not get disrupted and it is more resilient.\n Implements of new products and processes including through transfer of technical aspects in the PU.\n Contributes to team at startup in production through technical support and guidance.\n Takes improvement actions to reach target performance\nMore about you\nWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:\n5+ years of experience in SMT manufacturing environment (preferred in electronics or lighting industry)\nBroadened/theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization.\n Drives Operational Excellence, Lean methods and tools.\n Deep understanding of continuous improvement\n NPI\n Project management techniques\n Capable of interacting with senior levels, networking.\n Knowledge of environmental, safety, ergonomy and quality regulations\n People coaching\n Problem-solving\nEverything we’ll do for you…\nYou can grow a lasting career here.
