Through our leadership in connected lighting and the Internet of Things, we're breaking new ground in data analytics, AI, and smart solutions for homes, offices, cities, and beyond.\nAt Signify, you can shape tomorrow by building on our incredible 125+ year legacy while working toward even bolder sustainability goals. Our culture of continuous learning, creativity, and commitment to diversity and inclusion empowers you to grow your skills and career.\nJoin us, and together, we’ll transform our industry, making a lasting difference for brighter lives and a better world.\nMore about the role\nMore about the role\nThis is an exciting internship opportunity to help Signify accelerate product circularity for our consumer portfolio. As a Product Circularity Data & Analysis Intern in Eindhoven (High Tech Campus), the Netherlands, your first focus will be to build a clear baseline of where we are today: what circularity-related data we already have for existing products and what it tells us. Based on this insight, you will help determine what we still need and what we can realistically do to improve product circularity (material use, recyclability and repairability).\nSome tips to help you improve the job advertisement:\nCreate an overview of where we are by collecting and consolidating available circularity data for existing consumer products (materials, components, packaging, and supplier information) into a structured dataset.\nAssess product circularity (material use, recycled content, recyclability, repairability and end-of-life routes) and identify data gaps, assumptions and the key drivers-so we can determine what we need and what we can do to improve.\nEvaluate repairability and serviceability (e.g., modularity, disassembly, availability of spare parts, and ease of replacement) using product documentation and hands-on assessment where possible.\nDefine a repeatable approach (templates, checklists, and clear definitions) to score/compare products on circularity and highlight data gaps and assumptions.\nCreate clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders by summarizing findings in dashboards/slides and proposing next steps to improve data quality and circularity performance.\nMore about you\nWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:\nSome tips to help you improve the job advertisement:\nYou are an HBO/WO student in Industrial Engineering, Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Data Analytics, or a similar field.\nAnalytical and structured: comfortable working with datasets, specifications and bills of materials, and translating information into clear conclusions.\nInterest in circular economy topics (materials, recyclability, repairability, life cycle thinking) and willingness to learn relevant standards and internal methods.\nStrong attention to detail: able to validate sources, document assumptions, and maintain traceability of data and calculations.\nProactive communicator who enjoys collaborating with R&D, sustainability and procurement stakeholders to gather data and drive improvements.\nEverything we’ll do for you\nYou can grow a lasting career here. We’ll encourage you, support you, and challenge you. We’ll help you learn and progress in a way that’s right for you, with coaching and mentoring along the way. We’ll listen to you too, because we see and value every one of our 27,000+ people. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a full spectrum of bright ideas. With a global workforce present in 70+ countries, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued, helping us all achieve more together.\nCome join us, and together we can light up the future.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3965,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Continuous learning"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["LED Lighting & Luminaires"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T14:09:43Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":42,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.555,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":23,"expected_fill_days":25,"reasons":["conf:0","win:late","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-13T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/signify-product-circularity-engineer-2","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/signify-product-circularity-engineer-2.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-13T15:27:33Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":23596,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-14T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":10837},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=10837"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fsignify-product-circularity-engineer-2"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fsignify-product-circularity-engineer-2"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fsignify-product-circularity-engineer-2"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/signify-product-circularity-engineer-2\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fsignify-product-circularity-engineer-2"}]}
