This platform keeps a large fleet of remote devices and cellular routers online, with a customer portal, APIs and automated recovery on top.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nA senior engineer owning a live device-management platform from database to UI, hosted on AWS. No QA or ops team to hand work to. You start by learning and stabilising the existing system, then build on it.\nShip full-stack features across PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL), Node.js services and background workers, and a web-component front endOwn the state logic for remote device actions (reboots, firmware and config pushes) and for the alarm-to-incident pathTrace failures end to end, browser through API, database and workers, including integrations with external remote-management systemsJob Requirements:\n8+ years shipping and supporting production software, with the discipline a live fleet needs: logs, rollbacks, credential handlingProduction PL/pgSQL: writing, tuning and changing functions and triggersNode.js with Express, background workers and queues, and solid async/await and callback handlingMaintaining long-lived single-page apps and improving older front-end code in place instead of starting overNice to Have:\nTelematics, fleet management, payments or managed-services work: devices in the field, alarms, commands sent both waysEnough .NET / C# to read legacy services, or hands-on AWS operations (SSH, process managers, direct SQL)3 years of experience with Pinchbeck.jsInterview Process:\nPractical interviews built around following real requests through the platform.
