Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $70,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\nSummary:\nThe Accounts Payable Supervisor oversees daily AP operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations across multiple locations. This role provides direct support to the AP Manager, leads AP Specialists in meeting performance expectations, and drives consistency, accuracy, and workflow efficiency within the department.\nEssential Functions:\nSupervise AP Specialists, assign daily/weekly tasks, monitor workload distribution, and ensure deadlines for invoice processing, matching, and payment runs are consistently met.\nOversee 2 way/3 way matching, receiving discrepancies, and invoice exceptions; escalate unresolved issues to Purchasing, Warehouse, or Operations as needed.\nReview AP work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls; ensure proper documentation and adherence to SOPs.\nCoach team members, provide ongoing training on systems and procedures, and support performance improvement through clear expectations and feedback.\nAssist with vendor inquiries, statement reconciliations, and resolution of payment discrepancies; ensure timely responses and professional communication.\nIdentify recurring issues, recommend workflow enhancements, and support implementation of standardized procedures across all warehouses.\nSupport weekly payment runs, verify accuracy of payment batches, and ensure proper approvals are in place.\nPartner with Purchasing, Warehouse Managers, and Accounting to resolve receiving issues, pricing discrepancies, and inventory related variances.\nPrepare AP aging reports, productivity metrics, and status updates for leadership; track team performance and identify areas for improvement.\nEnsure adherence to company policies, approval hierarchies, and audit requirements; maintain accurate vendor files and documentation.\n Education:\nHigh School Diploma / GED required. College coursework or degree preferred.\nExperience:\n3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience; 2 years in a lead role preferred.
