Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe annual salary for this position is $100k to $120k and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\n The Cybersecurity Analyst is a key member of Signode's Cybersecurity team, responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents across the organization. This role works closely with internal IT teams and security stakeholders to strengthen Signode's security posture through proactive threat detection, incident response, threat intelligence analysis, and the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.\nThe Cybersecurity Analyst demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in security operations, incident response, threat detection, and cybersecurity investigations. The role requires the ability to identify, analyze, and respond to security threats by leveraging threat intelligence, malware analysis, and Microsoft security technologies. The incumbent maintains current knowledge of emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of security monitoring, detection, response capabilities, and operational controls.\nEssential Functions\nMonitor, triage, and investigate security alerts and events generated through SIEM, EDR, ITSM, and other security monitoring platforms.\nRespond to and manage security incidents in accordance with established incident response procedures.\nUtilize threat intelligence and open-source intelligence (OSINT) resources to enrich investigations and improve threat detection capabilities.\nConduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify suspicious behavior, emerging threats, and potential compromises within the environment.\nAnalyze and evaluate cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends that may impact the organization.\nPerform static and dynamic malware analysis within controlled sandbox environments to determine threat impact and remediation actions.\nInvestigate endpoint, network, and cloud-based security incidents and perform digital forensic analysis as needed.\nCollaborate with cross-functional IT teams to contain, remediate, and recover from security incidents.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance security detection rules, alerts, and operational workflows to improve Cybersecurity effectiveness security operations processes.\nStay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring capabilities, automation opportunities, and overall Cybersecurity maturity. Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.\nOversee and administer company credit card and debit card program, including collections, fees and related analysis.\nProvide backup for other treasury members as needed.\n Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.\nRelevant cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCFA, CEH, SC-200, AZ-500).\nMicrosoft Azure certifications preferred.\nExperience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, or incident response.\nExperience working within an internal Security Operations Center (SOC) and/or Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Azure and cloud security technologies.\nExperience analyzing security logs and telemetry from EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, identity platforms, and cloud security tools.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, Entra ID, and other Microsoft security solutions preferred.\nFunctional Success Drivers: These competencies are what we require for an individual to be successful in this role.\nProblem Solving\nAnalytical Thinking\nInterpersonal Savvy\nSense of Urgency\nAdaptable\nTeam Player\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nThe Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future.\nReasonable Accommodation Statement\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
