This position will be expected to work alongside the team to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, as well as working towards improving SOC processes.\nThe ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in incident response, malware analysis, and threat intelligence.\nEssential Functions\nMonitoring of security alerts through ITSM platforms\n\nRespond to security alerts, utilizing open-source intelligence to enrich investigations with meaningful information\n\nMonitoring, evaluating, and profiling of cyber threats to the organization\n\nProactively hunt security threats and anomalies on the network\n\nAnalyze malware statically and dynamically in a sandbox environment\n\nStay up to date with the latest threat attack vectors and countermeasures\n\nDevelop and maintain documentation on SOC processes and procedures\n\nServe as part of an on-call support rota\n\nWorking proficiency with Azure Sentinel KQL (Kusto Query Language)\n\nPosition Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in IT\n\nCybersecurity Certifications\n\nAzure Certifications\n\nExperience:\n3+ years in a hands-on technical role in cyber security operations\n\n1-2+ years’ experience within an internal SOC or an MSSP\n\nWorking Proficiency in English\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure environments and solutions\n\nExperience working with and analyzing logs related to IDPS, EDR, and firewall solutions\n\nSolid understanding of:\nIncident response\n\nMalware analysis\n\nEndpoint and network digital forensics\n\nSecurity detection rules\n\nBest security practices
