Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $24 - $29.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\nSummary:\nThe primary purpose of the maintenance technician is to ensure production and operations are running safely at the most efficient level achievable, producing the highest possible production quality. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s safety program.\nEssential Functions:\nTroubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, complete, and cost-effective manner.\nPerform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment.\nCheck and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.\nComplete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.\nIdentifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.\nEnsure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.\nMaintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.\nRespond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers.\nMaintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping and plumbing.\nCommunicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.\nOther related duties as assigned.\n Education:\nHigh school diploma/ GED preferred but not required. Certifications preferred but not required\nExperience:\n5+ years experience of industrial maintenance experience in fast paced manufacturing environment.
