Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $31.00 - $44.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\nShift:\nMonday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm\nSummary:\nUnder general supervision, this position maintains, troubleshoots and services electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls and supports all production and physical plant equipment in the facility. Complies with applicable regulations and the company’s safety program\nEssential Functions:\nPerform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, and principles of operation of electrical equipment.\nRespond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers. \nPlan work procedures and determines replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.\nAnalyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems.\nDismantle, inspect, and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.\nRepair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments.\nTroubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.\nExamine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems whether electrical or mechanical.\nStart up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation's requirements, company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown.\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.\nMaintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.\nCalibrate testing instruments and/or equipment to prescribed specifications.\nPerform preventative maintenance tasks as recommended by the manufacturer and or the facility’s historical data.\nAll other duties as assigned.\n Education:\nElectrical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity.\nExperience:\nFive (5) years of electrical technical hands-on experience including wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs.\nAdherence to apply standards per the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code. \nAbility to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks. \nAbility to read, use and understand gauges, tools and instruments relating to equipment repair. \nScissor lift driving experience is preferred but not necessary. \nMay need to be on call at times\nFunctional Success Drivers: These competencies are what we require for an individual to be successful in this role.\nIndependence\nOrganization / Planning\nSafety & Security\nSelf-Awareness\nCommunication (oral and written)\nEnergy\nExperience\n The Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future.\nReasonable Accommodation Statement\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
