Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $35.00 - $38.00 hourly and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\nShift:\n7pm to 7am, Monday - Thursday 12hr days one week, then Monday - Wednesday 12hr days the next week.\nSummary\nThe primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to ensure production and operations are running safely at the most efficient level achievable, producing the highest possible production quality. Servicing and repairing complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s Safety program.\nEssential Functions\nPerforms troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. \nAnalyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment.\nRead, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance.\nCheck and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.\nPerforms corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs. \nEnsure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.\nComplete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.\nRespond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers. \nCommunicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.\n Education:\nMinimum High School diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanic.\nExperience:\nFive (5) years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.\nAbility to read and use schematics, gauges, tools and instruments.\nAbility to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.\nMust have sound knowledge and experience in Industrial Maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns along with general maintenance.\nMust have experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder.\nMust have a good working knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc.\nForklifts and scissor lift driving experience is preferred.\nFunctional Success Drivers: These competencies are what we require for an individual to be successful in this role.\nSafety & Security\nIndependence\nTrack Record\nAdaptability\nProblem Solving\nCommunication\nTeam Player\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nThe Company does not sponsor for employment-based visas for this position now or in the future.\nReasonable Accommodation Statement\nTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
