Benefits begin the month following the hire date.\nSalary:\nThe annual salary for this position is $75k to $85k and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.\n Production Supervisor III plays a key role in overseeing and optimizing the efficiency of our production processes. This position involves managing a team of production operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and meeting quality and production targets. The Production Supervisor gives guidance and direction to other supervisors within the team. This position is responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment, conducting regular performance evaluations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.\n Essential Functions\nSupervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.\nEnsure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.\nLead and motivate production teams, providing guidance and support. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.\nAllocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow.\nCoordinates daily with the Plant and/or Operations Manager on production.\nCollaborate with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality.\nImplement and enforce quality control processes within the production process.\nIdentify areas for process optimization, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.\nImplement improvements to enhance overall production performance.\nTrain, mentor, and develop production staff. Ensure that team members are adequately skilled and knowledgeable in their roles. Support ongoing training initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standards.\nImplement safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace hazards. Conduct regular safety meetings.\nCollaborate with materials management to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials for production. Monitor and control inventory levels to support production needs.\nAddress production issues in real-time, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams as needed.\nMaintain accurate records of production activities, quality control measures, and any incidents. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements.\nEffectively communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team.\nSupervision of production associates including performance reviews, onboarding, discipline, and terminations.\nHire new employees as needed.\nMonitoring and administering attendance, vacation and employee daily timesheet approval.\nCollaborate with other departments to streamline production processes.\nEducation: High School Diploma or GED.\nExperience: 5-7 years’ manufacturing experience with minimum 2 years of supervision in a manufacturing environment.
