This is not an extra-pair-of-hands role. As we expand across regions locally and globally, the application surface grows quickly, including provisioning, admin and operational portals, call-record handling, and reporting. You will guide one of these domains, shape its architecture, and ship it.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead a core domain end to end, such as provisioning, admin and operations tooling, or reporting and reconciliation.\n\nBuild backend services and APIs with clean, well-tested, well-documented code.\n\nDevelop frontend experiences for operational and admin surfaces in your domain.\n\nDesign data models for call records, reporting, and cross-region reconciliation.\n\nDeliver region-aware features as SignWow expands into new markets.\n\nContribute to code reviews, testing, design documentation, and the on-call rotation.\n\nWork in a small team with a short path from idea to production, where your work reaches real users quickly.\n\nSkills & Experience Required - Essential \n\nSenior full-stack experience with a strong portfolio.\n\nProficiency in TypeScript / Node on the backend and React on the frontend.\n\nWorking Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) experience, enough to build native bridges and integrate platform features.\n\nStrong PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.\n\nSolid API design and a working understanding of distributed systems.\n\nComfortable with cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD.\n\nUses AI tools to work faster while retaining responsibility for design, architecture, and judgment calls.\n\nAble to lead a domain and ship with minimal supervision in a fast-moving team.\n\nSkills & Experience Required - Desirable\n\nReal-time, WebRTC, or telephony exposure.\n\nExperience with reporting, analytics, or compliance-heavy products.\n\nMulti-region or multi-tenant systems.\n\nAmerican Sign Language (ASL) knowledge is a strong plus.\n\nOur Stack\n\nTypeScript / Node and React.\n\nPostgreSQL, Redis, websocket, and event-driven services.\n\nWebRTC-based real-time media.\n\nCloud infrastructure, containers, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.\n\nAsync-first workflow with GitHub, Linear, Slack, and Notion.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nLead a real domain, not a backlog queue.\n\nDirect work with the founders and room to shape architecture.\n\nFlexible, results-focused remote work.\n\nJoin a Deaf-led company making everyday communication more accessible.\n\nThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $225,000. The role may require flexibility to support urgent service requests and changing scheduling needs.\nThis position is primarily remote and open to candidates residing in U.S. states in which SignWow is authorized to employ personnel.
