Data Engineer with GCP - loyalty sector (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the migration and modernization of data and analytics processes. In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies including Google BigQuery, Dataform, and Python, collaborating closely with analytics and data engineering teams. This position requires working from client's office in Warsaw once a month.

Your tasks

• Migrating data and analytics processes from Oracle, Python, and SAS to Google BigQuery using Dataform and dbt

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data processing pipelines and analytical solutions with BigQuery, Dataform, SQL, and Python

• Contributing to the reshaping and modernization of the Analytics Data Platform in Google Cloud Platform

• Participating in the evaluation and co-creation of work standards and quality assurance best practices within the department

• Proactively proposing new ideas and optimizations for data processes and analytical solutions

• Collaborating closely with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mass data processing

• Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in BigQuery

• Knowledge of Dataform on GCP or a strong willingness to learn and develop in Dataform usage

• Knowledge of Python for data analytics and engineering purposes

• Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Very good command of English and Polish, and residency in Poland
