Senior PHP Developer (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to exciting projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work remotely, delivering high-value outputs and advocating for best practices in software development. Your tasks

• Deliver high-value outputs regularly, actively contributing code for at least 70% of your time

• Advocate for throughput over output, ensuring efficient work processes

• Offer technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and coaching junior team members

• Support colleagues in reducing waste and improving work in progress

• Keep close to the technology market, staying aware of industry changes and trends

• Understand the impact of technical decisions on projects and departmental practices, taking responsibility for your choices

• Support the definition and adoption of best practices and standards, ensuring effective governance

• Consider security risks in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new products and services

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

• Strong familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP

• Knowledge of web frameworks, such as React, NestJS, Vue.js, Laravel or Symfony

• Deep understanding of software development principles and best practices

• Strong familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

• Advanced level of English

Nice-to-have requirements

• Demonstrable experience in coaching or mentoring other developers

• Understanding of DevOps principles and cloud-native approaches

• Exposure to public and private cloud environments, including AWS and Azure

• Keen interest in continuous learning and professional development
