Lead regulatory efforts, environmental compliance, process safety and sustainability and help drive the culture toward interdependence. The primary support for this facility is for our Brighton, CO site with additional support to a facility in Denver.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety Program management:\nLead site in areas of Environmental, Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene and Emergency Response.\nCoach leadership team on safe behaviors, conditions, and approaches for improved safety culture\nLead and manage all aspects of EHS training\nLead site for key Risk Assessments such as HIRA, JHA/JSA, and Safe Work Permitting \nParticipate in Gemba / Safety walks focusing on behaviors and conditions\nEnsure proper utilization of company EHS systems such as Sphera, HSI SDS Program, and Gensuite\nSupport site engineering for compliance with company Process Safety efforts and EPA RMP\nLead and manage incident/accident investigation processes for near misses and all injuries\nFacilitate New Hire EHS Orientation for temporary and full-time employees\nParticipate in the site Behavior Based Safety program\nLead assist in Root Cause Analysis for incidents / near misses\nIntegrate all Corporate and Regional Environmental, Health & Safety programs into daily operations\nParticipate and assist in managing Management of Change (MOC) process\nLead site Emergency Response Team\nSubmit State and Federal EH&S reports (TRI, Tier II, etc.)\nAssist sites to implement Corporate EHS Standards and Procedures\nAssist Human Resources regarding workers compensation case details from injury reports and follow-up analysis needed once employee returns to work\nSupport small Ad-Mixture site of approximately 5 personnel in the Denver area\n Qualifications/Experience:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or similar degree.\n5-10 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s)\nChemical or similar manufacturing backgrounds preferred\nCSP or CIH and/or MS preferred\nStrong verbal, written, analytical and influence skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.\nKnowledge of the following areas: EPA (Environmental) OSHA (Occupational Safety), and similar regulations and reporting. \nExperience developing safety culture (E.g., Bradley Curve)\nSelf-motivated, self-starter\n Perks & Benefits\n401k with Generous Company Match \nBonuses\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits\nPaid Parental Leave\nLife Insurance\nDisability Insurance\nPaid time off, Paid holidays\nFloating holidays + Paid Volunteer Time\nWellness/Fitness Reimbursements\nEducation Assistance\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nEmployee Referral Program & More!\nSika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, empowering each individual to make decisions, learn from experiences, and shape their own career path.
