With more than 33,000 employees, the company generated sales of CHF 11.20 billion in 2025.\n Support the ESG Controlling Team in Zürich/Altstetten in its digitalization and automation journey, building and maintaining applications and data pipelines that drive automated, scalable ESG reporting.\nMain Task\nSoftware Development: Design, build, and maintain web applications, covering both front-end and back-end development. Understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and contribute to the full software lifecycle from specification through deployment.\n\nSecondary Task (Nice to have)\nCI/CD & Infrastructure: Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform).\n\nData Engineering & Analytics: Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Databricks to support ESG Reporting use cases, including data ingestion, transformation, and modelling.\n\n Must haves\nExperience with modern web technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Next.js, React) and JavaScript or TypeScript\n\nUnderstanding of databases and SQL\n\nWillingness to learn\n\nProactive approach\n\nEnjoyment of problem solving\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills\n\nEnglish language is required, German/Spanish is a plus\n\nNice to have\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Bicep, Terraform).\n\nKnowledge of or interest in Databricks, data engineering, Python, and analytics workflows.\n\nKnowledge of PowerBI\n\nFamiliarity with basic API design principles\n\nUnderstanding of data modelling and dbt.\n\nWhat we offer\nDynamic and fun team\n\nMulticultural environment\n\nWorking with senior tech leads\n\nVisibility to IT management if that is perceived motivating\n\nWell defined projects in case school requires formal documentations for credit(s)\n\n We look forward to your application.
