Approximately 33,000 employees generated CHF 11.20 billion in sales in 2025.\nSika is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support the shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory functions at our Benicia, California production facility. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics operations by maintaining accurate records, supporting inventory management, coordinating shipments, and providing SAP system support.\nAs part of site team, this position requires flexibility and a willingness to support activities across Logistics, Production, and Quality as needed.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with company housekeeping standards. Actively participate in and support the site's Sika SAFE Program and all safety initiatives.\nCoordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to meet operational deadlines.\nCommunicate with internal departments, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment schedules, pickups, deliveries, and issue resolution.\nPrepare shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation with a high degree of accuracy.\nSupport warehouse and plant operations to ensure inbound and outbound deadlines are achieved.\nProcess and complete shipment transactions in SAP accurately and on time.\nReceive raw materials, packaging supplies, and traded goods into SAP inventory.\nProvide SAP support to warehouse personnel, including label printing, document preparation, discrepancy research, and transaction troubleshooting.\nAssist leadership with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory verification, and reporting.\nMaintain organized warehouse and logistics records.\nParticipate in cross-functional plant activities and special projects as assigned by the Plant Manager.\n High School Diploma or GED.\n2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.\nSAP experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution setting.\nStrong administrative and organizational skills.\nBasic computer proficiency and experience working with inventory or logistics systems.\nAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nSolid mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and percentages.\nAbility to troubleshoot operational and process-related issues.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\nFlexibility to work overtime when business needs require.\nAbility to perform heavy physical work in a manufacturing environment.\nFrequently move throughout the plant and warehouse.\nOccasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force and frequently exert up to 50 pounds of force.\nAbility to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after training.\nPreferred\nForklift certification or the ability to become certified.\n 401k with Generous Company Match \nBonuses\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits\nPaid Parental Leave\nLife Insurance\nDisability Insurance\nPaid time off, paid holidays\nFloating holidays + Paid Volunteer Time\nWellness/Fitness Reimbursements\nEducation Assistance\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nEmployee Referral Program & More!\nSika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, empowering each individual to make decisions, learn from experiences, and shape their own career path.
