Approximately 33,000 employees generated CHF11.20 billion in sales in 2025.\n Broad Function and Purpose of Position:\nMechanic will be required to work with a team for the purposes of maintaining production equipment, and keeping production equipment running. Position also requires mechanic to perform troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities, as well as any other maintenance tasks that may be assigned from time to time.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nTroubleshooting and repairing the following: Hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyor equipment, powders/liquids feeders, mills, cranes, and other industrial equipment.\nPerform frequent electrical and controls-related troubleshooting (PLCs, input/output modules, variable frequency drives).\nSet-up and/or changeover equipment, troubleshoot and repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance on equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet scheduling requirements.\nMaintain a clean working environment and follow all safety guidelines and policies at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisor.\nInsure equipment is running safely and meeting necessary quality specifications\nMonitor equipment for adherence to efficiency and quality specifications. Respond to maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner.\nPerform building and utilities maintenance and document and test internal/external systems as necessary.\nRead, understand, and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.\nConsult catalogs to order parts.
