In May 2017, Sika enters the Swiss Market Index (SMI), the leading index of the Swiss stock exchange, containing the top 20 Blue Chip companies of Switzerland.\nSika’s product range features high-quality concrete admixtures, specialty mortars, sealants and adhesives, damping and reinforcing materials, structural strengthening systems, industrial flooring as well as roofing and waterproofing systems.\nSIKA (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD established in 1978 is a wholly owned company of Sika AG in Switzerland and a member of the Sika Group of Companies.\nThe principal activities of the company are manufacturing, trading, and supply of specialty construction chemicals in the building and construction industry.\nOver the years we have successfully established our technical assistance, services, and product solutions for various projects in different sectors\n We are looking for a Procurement Executive to join our Procurement Team.\nThe job responsibilities are as follows:\nProcurement:Lead cost savings initiatives for assigned procurement categories by identifying opportunities, driving sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and tracking savings delivery against agreed targets.\nSupplier Relationship Management - Manage suppliers throughout the supplier lifecycle, from onboarding and qualification through to ongoing performance monitoring, review, and continuous improvement.\nScope 3 Emissions Sourcing - Support sustainable procurement initiatives by sourcing materials and services from suppliers that contribute to Scope 3 emissions reduction, while promoting responsible sourcing practices and supplier compliance with sustainability requirements.\nData and report management - Maintain accurate procurement-related data in the ERP system, including pricing, incoterms, and other relevant master data. Prepare and share reports with internal stakeholders as required to support decision-making and operational visibility.\n\nPurchasing:Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) process, including timely PO creation, supplier coordination, and follow-up to ensure deliveries are completed in full and on time.\nQuality Management - Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, arrange product returns where required, and obtain credit notes in a timely manner.\nInbound Management - Ensure invoices match the corresponding Purchase Orders and keep PO delivery dates updated in real time to support accurate tracking and timely inbound processing.\n\nMiscellaneous: Assist the Procurement Manager in all required tasks or any other duties as instructed from time to time.\nEducation\nDiploma/bachelor's in supply chain/business management/ engineering\nTechnical\nStrong co-ordination skills\nStrong computer skills (MS Office)\nSAP S4 experience is an advantage\nFluent in English (oral & written). Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage. \nHuman Relations\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers in a professional manner.\nAbility to influence\nEmpathetic and assertive approach while interacting with suppliers.\nAbility to cohesively work and communicate with all peers.\nEffective problem-solving abilities to address internal stakeholder’s concerns and find suitable solutions quickly.\n Min 2 years of working experience in Procurement.
