Approximately 33,000 employees generated CHF 11.20 billion in sales in 2025.\n Broad Function and Purpose of Position:\nResponsible for effectively operating assigned shift while meeting company goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost. This particular open position is for a 12-hour shift in injection molding.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nMaintain a presence on the shop floor at least 90% of the time\nEnsure that plant safety rules are enforced\nEnsure that union contract and policies are enforced\nWork with materials and Quality to ensure delivery and quality requirements are achieved\nEnsure existing manufacturing processes are being followed:Start-up and shut-down procedures\nFirst and last piece inspection\nHourly quality checks\n5 S practices\nSafety devices in use and procedures followed\nSAP labeling process\n\nMeeting assigned financial goals and budgets\nEffectively managing shop floor, manufacturing operations including:Accurate reporting of production, scrap and labor in SAP\nTimely shift start-up and shutdown\nAdherence to production schedule: priorities and run rate\nTraining, development and motivation of shop floor personnel\n\nSupport local end users for knowledge gaps and overall digital process strength. \nPerform and support testing for new projects, change requests, upgrades, etc. \nCreate incident tickets as needed for any technical issues. \nContinuously update training materials, testing information and process documentation. \nParticipate with CPR for regional/global collaboration. \n High school education required; some college coursework preferred\nMust be a detail oriented problem solver, able to work and think independently\nMinimum three years previous supervisory experience, or equivalent\nMust be dependable and highly organized\nMust have strong oral and written communication skills\nMust be able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including management\n\n 401k with Generous Company Match\n\nBonuses\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits\n\nPaid Parental Leave\n\nLife Insurance\n\nDisability Insurance\n\nPaid time off, Paid holidays\n\nFloating holidays + Paid Volunteer Time\n\nWellness/Fitness Reimbursements\n\nEducation Assistance\n\nProfessional Development Opportunities\n\nEmployee Referral Program & More!\n\nSika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, empowering each individual to make decisions, learn from experiences, and shape their own career path.
