Sika Hellas, a leading company in the construction chemicals industry, is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our Research & Development (R&D) and Quality Control (QC) team at our facilities in Kryoneri, Attica.
As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that raw materials and finished products consistently meet the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes.
Role Description :
- Supervise, coordinate, and support the laboratory technicians performing the daily quality control testing
- Plan and coordinate the daily laboratory activities to ensure timely quality control of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Perform and oversee laboratory testing using analytical equipment, including titrators, FTIR, UV spectrometers, solids analyzers, and other laboratory instruments.
- Review and evaluate laboratory results and collaborate closely with Production to investigate deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of laboratory records, test reports, and electronic quality control databases.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, FPC, and other applicable quality standards and certification requirements.
- Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and qualification of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure laboratory procedures, work instructions, and testing methods are consistently followed.
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory within the construction materials, chemicals, or manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating a laboratory or quality team is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods and analytical instruments.
- Experience working with ISO quality management systems.
- Very good command of the English language.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience will be considered an advantage).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
